1.0 OPENING OF PUBLIC SESSION –

1.3 Approval of Agenda- approved as written
1.4 Approval of Minutes: approved as written
1.5 Schedule Next Meeting: June 15, 2026.
1.6 Budget: Jessica talked about the purchases being made (chromebook replacement, computer carts, and Kelly is ordering the supplies for next year).
1.7 Financial Report: The board has received and reviewed their financial packets.
1.8 Staff Presentations: No presenters
2.0 PUBLIC COMMENT – Opportunity for Citizens to address items not on the agenda. Persons wishing to address the Board on any school related issue not listed elsewhere on the agenda are invited to do so now. Audience time is not intended as a forum for public debate. Questions raised may require further investigation. Normally, the board will wait until its next meeting before responding to concerns raised.
3.0 ACTION DISCUSSION
3.1 – Strategic Planning – Ideas generated for future goals. Counseling and therapy services, updating technology as needed, volunteering services, strategic plan of succession for board members.
3.2 – 2025 – 2026 Annual Report – Delivered to Lowell School District and presented to the MVA board.
3.3 – Move funds to the Future Focus Fund and/or Capital Outlay Fund – Motion made by Nicco to move 141,600 to future focus fund. Becky made a second motion. Motion unanimously passed.
4.0 INFORMATION AND STUDY
4.1 Administrator’s report – Revenue is much higher than expected. New hire, Lisa Wagner for 5th grade.
4.2 Board Chair report – Presentation of staff appreciation towards board. Encouraged board members to attend Lowell and MVA graduations and community outreach.
4.3 Board Member report – Reviewed staff appreciation week and presentation
5.0 ADJOURNMENT – 7:30 pm
